As you've seen, I used to reply to such nonsense. I've decided to do my best not to. Partly because I return the same amount of disrespect to them they give to us/our Church/our Mother so I was not/am not Christ like with that at all. And also partly because I'm not sure if I'm responding out of pride or with the right heart.
I’m not sure what my motives are either. But out of habit I feel some things need to be responded to for the sake of other readers—so that those who hear the lie can also hear the truth, and choose. Im rarely responding to the original poster, it only look that way. Even when I was debating, it was mainly for the benefit of those present than to change my opponent’s mind.
